CALL ON JESUS
Jesus declared, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." (Revelation 22:13)
In Hebrew, the equivalent of Alpha and Omega is Aleph and Tav-the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Together they remind us that Jesus is the beginning and the end of God's redemptive plan. He is the fulfillment of every promise, the center of every Scripture, and the answer for every generation.
Ancient Hebrew pictographs associated Aleph with the strength of an ox-a servant-and Tav with the a cross depicting a destination. Together they beautifully point us to Jesus: the mighty Servant who willingly gave His life on the cross and triumphed over sin, death, and the grave.
Today, Jesus is our Great High Priest and eternal Mediator, ever living to intercede for those who come to God through Him (Hebrews 7:25). At AT26, we'll discover what it truly means to call on Jesus-not only for salvation, but for wisdom, strength, healing, peace, direction, and every need we face in life. Live worship will include special guests John Wilds, Roosevelt Stewart, and Naomi Raine.
