Romans 8:25
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it .

James 1:4
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

God requires patience before He grants your desire.

Luke 21:19
In your patience possess ye your souls.

There is a battle to be won in my mind through patience.

Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that to every purpose there is a time and a season.

Romans 8:25
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it .

Romans 4:18
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

Have a hope based on what is written in God’s Word!!

Romans 4:19-21
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Patience is a force that can be applied to the wrong thing.

Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Don’t be patient about doing the wrong thing.

Patience has to be applied to the right actions. Keep doing what the Word says to do.

True biblical patience is fueled by expectation!

Proverbs 23:18
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Faith is showcased by what we expect.

Proverbs 28:1
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Proverbs 24:14
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it , then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

Our expectation should be in God…

Psalm 62:5-6
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. [6] He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

You can miss your appointed time if you grow weary in well doing.

Preparation is the evidence of expectation. Am I preparing to receive from God?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Out of 28 times listed, there is not a time to quit.

You only quit when you can’t do it.

You can’t keep doing what led you to want to quit.
