Psalms 91:1-16
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

We are free because of our faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the door, he allows blessing to happen to you. Jesus has already done all of the work, salvation is a gift from God. Your DNA, spiritually, is God’s DNA.

True freedom means that you have some peace that passes all understanding. Peace doesn’t mean that all things are great and that there are no issues. Freedom means that you have the power to live and enjoy life.

Life & Peace! True freedom involves life and peace. It is possible to have peace in the midst of problems.

Don’t run from things just because they are uncomfortable, push past it and allow God to show himself.

We are so strong with our senses that our senses control us more than our spirit man This causes us to miss out on God’s best. You can listen at the Spirit of God or your mind.

John 8:17‭-‬19‭, ‬21‭-‬23‭, ‬28‭-‬32
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus knew who he was and who he belonged to. You will change for everybody if you don’t know who you are in Christ.

True freedom involves life and peace. You should be able to enjoy life and enjoy it more abundantly. Enjoy opportunities God gives you to help someone else. Be directed at God’s leadership through the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Your heart plays a part in all that you do including deciding to be carnally minded or spiritually minded. You have to be sure to keep your heart clear of some junk. Spiritually constipated!

Mark 7:21‭-‬22
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

Here are some things to consider about your heart:

1. Pride will make you talk about some things that you shouldn’t but should pray about.

Hebrews 8:10
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

2. Whatever you decide in abundance… that’s what you’ll do.

Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

3. Don’t hang on to things in your heart.

Matthew 18:35
So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

1 Corinthians 2:9‭-‬11
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Luke 7:36-50
And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to meat. And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

This woman pushed past her pride, people and her past and she got an opportuinty to show her love for God. She showed how much she appreciated God and as thankful for the new life that He gave her. She had freedom from what others thought, she had peace.

If we are going to have true freedom, we must listen to the Spirit of God.
