Galatians 5:16-17
[16] This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. [17] For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Amos 3:3– Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
To “walk in the Spirit” is to walk in agreement with The Spirit and the Word of God.
John 6:63
1 John 5:7
God is in rhythm with His Spirit and His Word.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 describes true biblical peace- where one is whole spiritually, mentally and physically.
Psalm 46:10
[10] Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Exodus 14:10-14
[10] And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the Lord . [11] And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt? [12] Is not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness. [13] And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord , which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. [14] The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Be still. Don’t make decisions based on emotions.
The plot of the enemy should drive you to the presence of God!
When you are in touch with your problem, you will get out of step and rhythm God.
Whatever you allow to be the number one priority in your life will control everything else that follows. Make getting in rhythm with God your number one priority.
2 Chronicles 20:15-18 & 21
[15] And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. [16] To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. [17] Ye shall not need to fight in this battle : set yourselves, stand ye still , and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.[18] And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord , worshipping the Lord . [21] And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord , and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord ; for his mercy endureth for ever.
Proverbs 16:7
When a man’s ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
It’s not our job to fight. We don’t need to try and make God right or His Word good. It is our job to know what He said and rest it that! The enemy should never phase your praise.
2 Chronicles 20:27-30
[27] Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies. [28] And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord . [29] And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel. [30] So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet: for his God gave him rest round about.
