Sons of the Most High God: P.5 (7.2.17)

Numbers 14:20-21
And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word:  But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord .

God’s ultimate purpose for us is that our lives bring Him glory.

1 Corinthians 10:3
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Psalm 72:19
And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Glory is a manifestation of who God is.

If something doesn’t bring God glory…we shouldn’t do it.

Psalm 8:4-6
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visits him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:

There is nothing God can’t do in your life if you won’t take the credit for it!

Sin separates us from the glory of God.

God delivers and saves us so our lives can bring Him glory.

Let other men see your good works and glorify God.

Let people see something in your life that they have to give the glory to God for.

Questions to ask to be accountable to Godly character:
Does what am I putting in my body bring God glory? (The food you eat, substances you intake, the things you watch on tv, listen to on the radio, read…)
Does what is coming out of my body bring God glory? (The way you speak , act…)
Does what am I putting on my body bring God glory? (The way you dress, etc… )
Does what am I doing with my body bring God glory? (How you conduct yourself)

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Every born again believer has the potential to bring God Glory by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Colossians 1:25-27
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

John 17:4-5,9,20-22
I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.  And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

When we are representing Jesus to others, we are living a life that brings Him glory.

John 1:1,14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

God is always glorified when His Word is manifested and He has what He said.

The right response to the manifestation of God’s Word is, “Glory”.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is , there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The Word of God is a spiritual mirror. It will show you your potential by the Holy Spirit.
