Psalm 119:98
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.

Opposition is opposed position.

We must recognize that God uses relationships to advance a vision, purpose and assignment.

The enemy wants to use relationships to hinder the will of God in your life.

Psalm 110:1
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

God will use your enemies to elevate you.

You are either known by the enemy that defeats you or by the enemy that you defeat.

We must recognize the importance and the power of relationship.

John 15:18-21
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.  Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Luke 14:28-33
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it ? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it , all that behold it begin to mock him, [30] Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

There is a price to every position that God has called you to.

The one who sets the price for your position is your enemy. God gives you whatever you need to get there. Find the strength and wisdom from His Word.

Matthew 20:20-22
Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him , and desiring a certain thing of him. And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.  But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

When the Lord laid out your destiny, He factored in what the enemy would do.

Nehemiah 4…Nehemiah wouldnt get off wall and stop building.

Daniel 6… 10 Daniel continued to pray and seek God.

Don’t get engaged with the enemy and allow it to take you out of the position you have been called to.

God has already factored in the tactics of the enemy, and He will use them to get you to where you belong.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

John 10:10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [10] Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

Victory over the enemy will glorify God.

The enemy’s attacks on your life are seasonal.

Ecclesiastes 3:8
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

What are you willing to overcome to take the position God has called you to?

You must defeat your enemy, or your enemy will defeat you.

Don’t argue with your enemy.

The best way to defeat your enemy is to lead them to Jesus.

John 7:19-20
Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?

1 Corinthians 2:8
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Look past the people that are in front of you that are driven by the enemy.

Don’t let the enemy be the excuse for you not doing what God has called you to.

Do what God has called you to do because that is what the enemy is trying to stop. If you honor God, especially in the face of opposition, He will always honor you!
