The harvest of our life is the result of a series of decisions.
Double mindedness creates anxiety because we were not designed to bear it.
We are a decision away from our purpose.
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
If I am following Jesus, I do not go where He hasn’t been.
Vs. 20…when I follow Jesus there is something I leave behind.
Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Some are stuck in the present because they are holding on to the past trying to move to the future.
Once you make a decision for Jesus He will give you the ability to do what you couldn’t do in sin.
A true decision will be evident when you look forward and look back.
Walk in the harvest of a decision.
Decisions must be based on vision and hope.
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Decisions require faith and God responds to faith!!
God gives us the freedom to choose, but we are not free from the consequences of our choice.
In your patience possess ye your souls.
You convert your will by being patient.
But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it .
