Luke 16:1-2
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

We are all stewards and managers of that of another. Everything in the earth belongs to the Lord.

Luke 16:3
Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.

Make yourself accountable to the one who put the thing you are managing in your life.

You must be faithful where you are before you are able to manage more and go to the next level.

Luke 6:46
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Luke 16:10-11
He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches ?

Proverbs 10:2
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Are you going to live for the resources or the One who is the source of all the resources?

God will never ask you to answer for what you don’t have in your life.

Matthew 25:23
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

God can’t give someone something new to manage when they are not mature enough to be accountable right where they are.

God is the source of your life.

Mark 11:1-3
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him . And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.

Luke 16:12-13
And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

A test of your management is how you manage that which is another persons.

Ask, “How accountable to God am I right now in my life?”
