Hebrews 6:12
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 6:11
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

Biblical hope means you have the biblical right to expect something

Hope is earnest expectation of good with an outstretched neck.

Expect what God has said to manifest in your life.

The ultimate evidence of expectation is preparation.

Prepare for the Word of God to manifest in your life.

Patience – constant, consistent

Romans 8:24-25
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it .

Don’t let time strip you of your zeal.

Hebrews 6:11-13
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

The will of God is found in the Word of God.

Hebrews 10:36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

After you have done the Word of God, apply patience.

Every transition in life is met with the spirit of fear.

Hebrews 10:37-38
For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. [38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

What is worth applying patience?
God’s Word is worth waiting for!

James 1:4
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Luke 21:19

Your position in faith is more important to God than the reward of faith.

God is looking for a converted soul who is living by faith day and night.

God knows what you are going to look like when you get your breakthrough. If we got our breakthrough too quickly we would abandon our faith. God is concerned about our soul.

Your breakthroughs is not all about you…it is to send a message to all those around you and to do a work in your life.

Acts 28…all the tribulation got everyones attention

Hebrews 12:1

What ever is outside of faith slows you down. Get everything that isn’t of faith out of your life.

Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us , and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The same God that authored your faith will finish your faith.
