Ruth 3:18
[18] Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.

Job 37:14
[14] Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

Psalm 4:4,8
[4] Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah. [8] I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord , only makest me dwell in safety.

Psalm 84:4
[4] Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.

Ruth 1:6,11-16
[6] Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread. [11] And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands? [12] Turn again, my daughters, go your way ; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons; [13] Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord is gone out against me. [14] And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her. [15] And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law. [16] And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Proverbs 1:32-33
[32] For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. [33] But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Psalm 1:1-3
[1] Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord ; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (emphasis added)

When we aren’t where we should when we should be, we are out of rhythm with God. We have to be careful who we allow into our space, and with whom we spend our time. The people in your life will influence the rhythm of your life. Are the people influencing your life causing you to seek shallow things?

Sometimes we have a hard time saying “no” to things. We end up walking in less than God desires for us.

Space – it is the distance between two bodies, measured by time.

Space holders get you out of rhythm with God. Who you let into your space will control your timing.

The only thing that separates you from you destiny is time.

Luke 6:39

Isaiah 42:16

Develop a bigger “yes” by faith and it will help you say “no” to the things you know aren’t your destiny.
