Titus 2:13‭-‬14
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

There is no salvation outside of redemption.

What is Redemption?
Redemption means I’ve been purchased. I’ve been ransomed and the debt I owed has been paid.

Sin leads to death. How can we call on the Lord to save us if we don’t know that we need to be saved. That is the danger of iniquity. Iniquity is the sin that we ignore, that we’ve gotten comfortable with.

Proverbs 16:6 states “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.”

Mercy is available to everybody. He is rich to all who call upon Him in faith. However, many don’t call on mercy because they don’t know they need it.
Romans 3:22-23

Satan’s hold on society is to make people believe that’s there’s nothing wrong with sin and then they don’t call on the Lord or ask for His mercy and are not saved.

If you are not quick to repent over sin, you can condition yourself to live satisfied in it. Iniquity is sin that a person has become accustomed to. The longer you live in something, the easier it gets.

Job 34:32
That which I see not teach thou me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

Isaiah 59:1-2
Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. ‘

We can ask God to reveal iniquity to us and remove it. We can ask Him to show us what we don’t see.

We can see in scripture, in 2 Chronicles 7:14, a possible reason we are not seeing healing and power: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Psalms 90:8
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

When you come into the presence of God, the light of his presence shines on secret sin.

Jesus died for things that no one else can see. Isaiah 53:5 illustrates the fact that He was bruised for our iniquities. Bruises are injuries on the inside that eventually present evidence on the outside. All the things we carry on the inside, that secret sin that no one else knows about; He died for it.

Luke 17:4‭, ‬26‭-‬26‭, ‬28
And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.   And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

We are living in days as Noah and Lot, these time periods proceeded God’s judgement.

Isaiah 5:18
Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:

In Romans 13, God created government to reward good and punish evil but this model has been flipped. Present culture rewards evil and punishes good.

John 6:63
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Genesis 6:1‭-‬3‭, ‬5‭-‬7‭, ‬9
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,  That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.  And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.  And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.  And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.  And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.  These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

2 Peter 3:4
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

Isaiah 59:4
None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Ezekiel 9:9
Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not.

Ezekiel 3:17‭-‬19
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.  When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Thessalonians 2:3‭-‬4‭, ‬7‭-‬12
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
