Exodus 6:5-7
[5] And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. [6] Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord , and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: [7] And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

The end result of sin is to separate you from God…but sin cannot separate God from you.

Psalm 89:4
Numbers 23:19…God is not a man that He should lie
Is 55:11
John 15:8

God is ever-mindful of His Word and His promise…He is faithful to His Word.
Revelation 5:9

Hosea 3:1-2

Exodus 12:1-8
[1] And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, [2] This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. [3] Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: [4] And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. [5] Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: [6] And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. [7] And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. [8] And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

When we willfully sin we trod under foot what Jesus did for us on the cross and the price of His blood.

There is nothing the blood of Jesus can’t save you from.

Romans 3:23-27
[23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; [24] Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: [25] Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; [26] To declare, I say , at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. [27] Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Sin has a price tag on it.

The only way for the price of sin to be paid is by sinless, spotless blood.

1 Peter 1:18-19
[18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; [19] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

David and Jonathan’s covenant
God has not forgotten his covenant and the blood that was spilt for my sin so that I could be purchased.

We are under new ownership…start living our lives in such a way that we reflect that Jesus is our Lord/owner.

Psalm 105:26-37
[26] He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen. [27] They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham. [28] He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word. [29] He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish. [30] Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings. [31] He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts. [32] He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land. [33] He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts. [34] He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number, [35] And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground. [36] He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength. [37] He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

When Jesus bought you he bought everything that came with you…he redeems every part of your life.

Don’t let your history define your destiny.

His plan of redemption is complete and he isn’t intimidated by your past.

Don’t let Jesus shed His blood and us not give Him all of what He paid for!
